The stitch count for this cute design is 36W x 88L. Done by Charland, the sampler starts with the word snow at the top, then two snowmen and flakes then a quilt and skates skis, mittens, evergreen trees and snowflakes at the bottom. The pattern comes with the thread, Mill Hill beads and a sterling silver charm pair of ice skates. Besides cross stitch, it uses Algerian Eye, backstitch, circular Smyrna, long arm cross, rice stitch, herringbone and alternating mosaic stitches. There are good diagrams for the specialty stitches.
